Ability P & O joins Gettysburg/Adams Chamber
October 2007
Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. recently became a member of the Gettysburg/Adams area Chamber of Commerce. "We are very excited to join the Chamber," says founder and Gettysburg native, Jeffrey M. Brandt, CEO, "Ability was founded here in Gettysburg and as we continue to grow the company and add to our corporate staff, it is essential to be involved in both the business and social community here in Adams county."
The Gettysburg/Adams Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit community service organization dedicated to promoting and strengthening quality of life by providing programs that enhance economic and civic well being. An example of this is the upcoming Business Expo, to be held on October 30, 2007 at the Wyndham Gettysburg. This year's expo has been extended to the Chambers of Hanover, Littlestown and New Oxford; Ability Prosthetics and Orthotics, Inc. plans to participate.
"As a resident of Gettysburg and Adams county, participating in the counties economic growth is as much personal as it is professional." says Vice President Clay Barrow.
"We are pleased to be participating in the expo as a chamber member," says Brandt. "The event allows Ability to continue to raise awareness about the prosthetics and orthotics profession and available services in the area. Ability will showcase our nationally-recognized, innovative approach to providing artificial limbs and braces.
