Ability CEO Appears on Fox Business News
August 2009
Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. CEO, CPO and Founder, Jeffrey Brandt recently appeared live on the Fox Business News “Money for Breakfast” segment on Friday, August 14, 2009.
Brandt appeared with Republican congressman Thaddeus McCotter of Michigan, a member of the house financial services committee as well as non-insured Colorado resident, Shirley Green. Brandt’s opinion was sought from the angle of being a father of three children and husband, as well as a small business employer and provider of health care services who runs a “model of efficiency” practice.
“It was a great experience,” exclaims Brandt, who was then asked to provide an additional interview. “On the later segment, which aired over the weekend,” he continues, “I got the opportunity to talk about the importance of the federal parity and Medicare Improvement bills. Anytime there is an opportunity to speak about the Orthotics & Prosthetics profession on national television, it is an opportunity to advance our industry.”
Brandt’s practice, which is now five patient care centers has quickly become a “model of efficiency” in healthcare as the company, through implementing electronic medical records, outsourcing its manufacturing and introducing several processes to eliminate inefficiencies that plague his competitors, has greatly reduced administrative costs, increased number of patients treated, eliminated waiting room time, decreased product manufacturing time while increasing patient satisfaction results.
