Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. has been invited to present at the Diabetes Support Group at The Chester County Hospital. The educational event will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 7-8:30pm at the North Hills Wellness Classroom located in the North Hills Medical Office Building, 1st Floor, 795 East Marshall Street in West Chester, Pa 19380.

Jared A. Howell, Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist of Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc., located in Exton, will speak at the event. The topic of the program is "Put Your Best Foot Forward in the New Year."

"As an orthotic and prosthetic practitioner, I see many patients affected by different stages of diabetes," explains Howell, "It is always our mission at Ability to provide specific pathology education, as well as to inform patients and other health care providers of the different device types available for management of patients suffering from the effects of diabetes."

Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. of Exton has been open since 2007. Both Jared Howell and Jeffrey Brandt, owner and certified prosthetist and orthotist, are active in providing orthotic and prosthetic care at the Chester County Hospital and Wound Care Clinic. The practice offers services/devices ranging from diabetic shoes and inlays to custom orthoses (such as mafo's) to prosthetic limbs.
