Ability Prosthetics and Orthotics, Inc. is pleased to announce that its division, Symmetry, will participate in the third “Girls Nite Out” event, which will be held on May 13, 2011 at the Historic Gettysburg Hotel’s Grand Ballroom.

The Girls Nite Out event, which is presented by WGET and the Gettysburg Times, provides an opportunity for women of all ages to taste, shop, relax and learn.  Event exhibits range from food and beverage tasting to massage, home improvement and self improvement.  Furthermore, women can participate in seminars showcasing specific products.

“We’re thrilled Symmetry will be part of the Girls Nite Out event,” says Wendy Carter, CFOM & clinical director of the division, “It’s important for women to learn there are options when it comes to feeling as whole as possible after breast surgery.”  At Symmetry, efficient and precise 3-D imaging technology is used to create a custom breast prosthesis with the perfect look, fit and feel.

Symmetry’s Carter will be on hand demonstrating the scanner’s capabilities and explaining just how the process works from insurance coverage to the perfect bra fit.
