AmputationRaleigh, NC-Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc., based in Exton, Pa is pleased to announce it’s Raleigh, NC patient care center will participate in the 3rd Annual Engineering a World Class Rehabilitation Center- From One to Run.  The event will be held on March 28, 2014 at the Hamner Conference Center located at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center.  The symposium is part of a broader initiative named REC or Rehabilitation Engineering Center, which is a joint venture between the North Carolina State University’s College of Engineering and the University of North Carolina’s School of Medicine.  REC is a state technical assistance, education and research center that evaluates, designs, develops and promotes improved care and function for individuals with short and long term rehabilitation needs.

Ability’s Chris Baughman, CP, BOCO and managing practitioner of the Raleigh office, Brian Kaluf, BSE, CP, Clinical Outcome & Research Officer and Jeffrey Brandt, CEO, CPO & Founder of Ability, will be partcipating in the panel discussions.  “Ability is thrilled to be invited to contribute,” explains Brandt, “We look forward to collaborating with REC on future projects.”
