Ability Opens New Office in Hagerstown, MD
April 2005
Ability Prosthetics and Orthotics, Inc., has now opened a second full time, full service office in Hagerstown, Maryland.
"As our patient population in South Central Pennsylvania began to grow," says owner Jeffrey M. Brandt, CPO, "we realized there was a great need for full time prosthetics and orthotics services within Washington County, one of the fastest growing regions in Maryland."
The new office will be co-owned and operated by Jeffrey Quelet, CPO, a native of Maryland. "Since Hagerstown is home to a level 3 trauma center," Mr. Quelet comments, "We are excited to be able to provide top-notch, comprehensive services without having people have to leave the area or wait unnecessarily for care."
As in Gettysburg, Ability strives to be integrated with the medical community so that there is continuity with patient care. "The first step in achieving this goal," says Mr. Brandt, "is securing a location that can be easily accessed by patients, as well as by their therapists and physicians." The office is located within the Professional Village medical complex, only about 2 blocks away from Washington County Hospital.
To further enhance patient care, both Mr. Brandt and Mr. Quelet personally meet with and educate physicians, therapists and third party payers about the latest advances in the orthotics and prosthetics field.
The Ability Hagerstown office hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday; please call 301-790-3636 to schedule an appointment.
