July 2011 Gettysburg, Pa (Corporate)- Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. recently announced the relocation of its Lexington, KY and Asheville, NC patient care facilities. The new Class A facilities will be complete during the summer of 2011. The new facilities can accommodate up to 3 practitioners and are designed to meet the needs of patients with features that include wide hallways, increased lighting, wheelchair accessible restrooms, pediatrics specialty room, scanning room and enlarged, technology enabled gait training rooms with steps, ramps, and 24 foot parallel bars for walking amputees and brace wearers. “The gait rooms in these offices are the premier feature,” explains Jeffrey Brandt, CPO & Founder of Ability, “Every aspect of the facilities were designed with the patient in mind to promote safety, education and enhance the overall modern O&P experience.”
