Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. recently announced the recipient of its 2010 Joseph Mazur Housing Scholarship. The award was presented to Danny Freund, a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and resident of Hopewell, New Jersey as part of the grand opening celebration of Ability’s York, Pa patient care center. Danny is currently enrolled in the prosthetics program at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, from which he will graduate in June.
Prior to attending Northwestern University, Danny spent time as a patient model for one of the world’s largest Prosthetics manufacturer- Otto Bock Healthcare. He has been recognized for designing, patenting and licensing an innovative medical product. Danny has demonstrated customer service excellence and has achieved consistently high performance goals while maintaining a high degree of integrity and compassion for people in both the professional positions he has held and the affiliations he keeps.
