September, 2012, Gettysburg, PA– Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. is pleased to announce recent professional appointments of two practitioners.  Brian Kaluf, MS, CP and managing practitioner of Ability’s Greenville, SC patient care facility has been appointed to the Outcomes Research Committee, which is a part of the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists Research Council.  The committee’s goals are:  1) to increase awareness and application of outcome measures in clinical practice; 2) to assist members in determining how they can disseminate data collected from human subject research; and 3) to create a forum to connect researchers and clinicians within orthotics and prosthetics.

“I am proud to be a part of the committee,” says Kaluf, “With Ability recently universally adopting outcomes-based protocols for prosthetics, I feel I can bring some expertise to the group and thereby assist other practices to do the same.”
