Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. is pleased to announce they have hired Haley Branch, CPO, to join the Hagerstown, Maryland patient care facility.  This location has operated for six years, has grown and is slated to move into a new facility in 2011.  Ability’s Jeffrey Quelet, CPO, opened the office in 2005.  Seven of company’s nine patient care centers now operate with two CPO’s.

Since its founding in 2004, Ability’s nationally-renowned care model has proven efficient and effective for over 8,000 patients.  Ability’s staff evaluates, designs and fits patients with custom, as well as off-the shelf orthotic devices and prosthetics.  Ability utilizes OPIE practice-management software and out-sources 100% of its fabrication, two efficiencies establishing Ability as a market leader for many state-of- the-art orthotic and prosthetic devices.

Haley Branch, CPO, is a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics.  She subsequently completed her orthotics residency at the University of Oklahoma (OU) Physicians Orthotics and Prosthetics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2009.  She then completed her prosthetics residency in 2010 through a cooperative agreement between OU Physicians Orthotics and Prosthetics and the Oklahoma City Veterans’ Administration (VA) Medical Center.

“I am so excited about my opportunity to join Ability,” says Haley, “I value their commitment to patient care and dedication to early adoption of advanced technology.”
