Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. presented two evening CEU courses for Physical Therapists on March 30th from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Meritus Medical Center. The courses featured an Outcomes-Based Protocols for Prosthetics presented by Chris DiGioia, CP, CFo, at our Hagerstown Patient Care Center. The second CEU Course was on Ankle Foot Orthosis Design and Function for Ambulation presented by Tyler Cook, CPO at our Hagerstown Patient Care Center. Tyler has recently joined the team and made some great exposure to the PT community during this course.
Each of the courses has been approved for 0.1 CEU credits by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for a total of 0.2 CEU’s for the evening. We have several approved CEU Courses for PT’s and OT’s that will specialize in the highest technology in prosthetic care, as well as courses in treating lower and upper prosthetic and orthotic patients to improve outcomes and give each patient the best quality of care.
We had a great evening meeting new therapists and seeing familiar faces. Ability offers CEU courses in each of its 10 patient care centers in Pennsylvania, Maryland and North Carolina. Contact your local office to learn about our upcoming events or to request a CEU Seminar at your therapy facility.
