Ability Becomes NCOPE Accredited Residency Site

July 2006

Ability Prosthetics and Orthotics recently received accreditation for a residency program by the National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE.) NCOPE's primary mission is to ensure educational and residency programs meet the minimum standards of quality to prepare individuals to enter the O&P profession.

In awarding the accreditation, Bryan Malas, NCOPE's Chairman recognized Ability's "commitment to educational programs." Jeffrey M. Brandt, CPO and President, is thrilled to have received the exclusive accreditation. "This provides an additional level of service to our patients and gives us the opportunity to pass on our philosophy of customer care to future professionals." Furthermore, Brandt states, "NCOPE accreditation gives Ability a connection to the educational process and challenges us to operate at a consistently high level."
