Ability Grows Again With 3 New Employees!
October 2007
Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. continues to grow! The company added three new employees in the past quarter.
"In accordance with our growth plan and requirements of the Ability model, we have added two practitioners and one office staff member," says President & CEO, Jeffrey M. Brandt. Kirk Ferris, CPO, has joined the company as a practitioner in the Gettysburg patient care facility. Kirk, like all other Ability practitioners, is ABC certified and formally trained. He brings over 14 of experience to the practice.
"Ability's model addresses many of the inefficiencies that plague other O & P companies. I am excited for this opportunity," says Mr. Ferris.
In the recently opened Exton, Pennsylvania patient care facility, Brandt has partnered with Jared Howell, Prosthetist/Orthotist and alumni of Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine's Orthotic & Prosthetic Program. "With Jared's sound clinical foundation, organizational skills and business acumen, he will do well in the Ability model and in a new office," says Brandt.
"I am thrilled to be joining Ability," says Howell, "its practice model allows me to showcase my evaluation and design skills as a practitioner so I can efficiently provide my patients with top-notch service and products. In addition to working with a great company, I am also looking forward to becoming part of a great community in Chester County."
Additionally, "We have also enhanced our staff at the Gettysburg patient care facility by adding Ann Longmire," says Brandt. Ann comes to Ability with many years of experience working in and on various medical practices. Her skills and experiences include practice management, billing, collections, marketing and strategic planning for the practice. Ann will be welcoming patients in Gettysburg and is looking forward to an exciting opportunity with a quickly growing company.
Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. will be hosting a corporate mixer in October to welcome the new employees. We wish them all the best in their new jobs and their future with Ability!
