Tyler Manee, CPO, and Tyler Dunham, CPO, traveled to Belize for one week to provide humanitarian prosthetic and orthotic care to individuals who would otherwise not have access to it. This is the fourth consecutive year that they have completed this service trip. They saw 79 O&P patients, performed 43 initial evaluations, made 17 new prostheses, and adjusted prostheses for numerous other patients. Ability donated material to help them offer reliable and comfortable prostheses.
Taffy Bowman, CPO, who works at Ability Exton (Pennsylvania), also spent a week on a medical/nutritional trip to Haiti with NorthPointe Community Church. Her team of volunteers focused on eradicating malnutrition through the provision of basic interventions. In just four days, the group saw 1,546 adults and children. Ability P&O donated medical supplies to the group.
