Board Eligible Prosthetist Orthotist
Allison Venskytis, MS is a Board Eligible Prosthetist Orthotist at the Ability Prosthetics and Orthotics office in Exton, Pennsylvania.
Allison attended the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Human Services with a minor in Health and Wellness. In this field, her concentration was on Community Mental Health and she received her Peer Educator Certificate. At an early age, she started working with her dad doing mechanical engineering and her mom in healthcare. Combining these two professions was important to her future knowing she was interested in a mix of both. Allison found prosthetics and orthotics while she was shadowing at a hospital in Buffalo, New York.
Allison received her Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Baylor has an integrated residency program, where Allison spent three months each at four different O&P companies as well as a six-month rotation with Ability P&O. She had the opportunity to travel across the country working at various hospitals, clinics, and with individuals of all ages. She has added a special focus on the studies relating to cranial remolding orthoses and clinical care in
the field of pediatrics. She has developed a love of working with all ages as she continues to grow her cranial specialty.
Allison is excited to be a part of the Ability Exton team and looks forward to providing clinical care to people of all ages. As a native of West Chester, PA , Allison has a strong connection to the community and is thrilled to be back home working to collaborate with therapists, physicians, and care providers in the Exton area.
