Chris Mullin, MPO, CSCS is a resident prosthetist orthotist at the Ability Prosthetics and Orthotics, Inc. office in Limerick, PA.
Chris received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology at Shippensburg University. He went on to work as a certified strength and conditioning specialist at a local community center. His interest in prosthetics
and orthotics was sparked after a friend introduced him to a squad mate in the National Guard who was utilizing an above the knee prosthesis. He talked with him about the anatomy, biomechanics and engineering required when designing such a device, and it quickly became apparent that the field of prosthetics and orthotics would be the perfect
fit to continue his educational pathway to service individuals in need within his community.
Chris is an avid long-distance runner, competing in Cross Country and Track and Field at Shippensburg University, and continues to run competitively post-collegiately. Chris plans to seek out opportunities to share his knowledge of running, fitness and orthotics and prosthetics by empowering adaptive athletes to continue achieving their goals.Chris began shadowing at Ability Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2016. He continued to gain experience in the field shadowing throughout the next year while personal training before pursuing his master’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics at Northwestern University. Chris is excited to complete his residency at Ability and continue to service those in his community through patient-centric care.
