Ability Has Always Been an “Early Adopter” of O&P Technology
Exton, Pa (Corporate) August 2013- Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc.’s CEO and Founder, Jeffrey M. Brandt, was recently featured in the August issue of the O&P Business News discussing strategies for becoming an early adoptor of new technology in Orthotics and Prosthetics. Brandt has long been a believer in differentiating Ability from other practices by offering newer, more innovative devices.
“Like any industry, you can’t sit back and just keep providing the same devices to patients. We still make phone calls but just look at how phones have changed. Who would have thought 20 years ago we would make calls from wherever we wanted to. Who would have thought our phones would be computers too! It’s part of our vision to help turn the “advanced technology” cycle making these devices more commonplace while creating new markets in the process.”
Ability’s eleven offices across five states and uniform practice model, make it well suited to engage in early adoption of other manufacturers products, product development, research and consulting. The company holds provisional patents and has spun off Kinetic Revolutions, LLC, a product development company, to more efficiently manage the opportunities for growth in this area.
